Any moving estimate provided—whether online, by phone, or in person—is based on the information you provide. Final charges may vary depending on:

• Additional services requested during the move (packing, supplies, storage, etc.)

Your booking is not considered confirmed until we provide written confirmation.

4. Payments & Fees

Payment terms:

• Payment is due at the completion of your move unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other approved payment methods.
• Additional fees may apply for heavy items, long carries, specialty equipment, or last-minute changes.

Failure to pay may result in collection actions or legal remedies.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the move may incur a cancellation fee.
• Same-day cancellations may result in full or partial charges.
• Rescheduling is subject to availability.

6. Limitations of Liability

While our movers take every precaution to protect your belongings, Local Seattle Movers is not liable for:

• Items packed by the customer
• Pre-existing damage
• Fragile items not properly packed
• Damage resulting from unstable furniture, loose hardware, or manufacturer defects

Our maximum liability for damaged items is limited to the level of valuation protection chosen at the time of service (e.g., basic coverage or optional full-value protection).

7. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, we do not transport:

• Hazardous materials
• Flammable or explosive items
• Perishable goods
• Unsecured high-value items (jewelry, cash, collectibles—must be transported personally)
